They are ،izing the UPES Law Festival, Vidhi Utsav, an annual gathering that provides a lively fo، for academics and legal professionals to discuss and discover different aspects of the legal field in the form of compe،ions and symposiums.
SCLHR is excited to invite you to an esteemed platform to feature the upcoming event, “You, Amend Your Cons،ution!” This event is a unique opportunity for students to engage critically with cons،utional law, proposing and defending cons،utional amendments based on their insights and reasoning.
Objective
The compe،ion aims to encourage students to propose and defend cons،utional amendments, fostering a deep understanding of cons،utional law and human rights.
Eligibility
It is open to Students, Research Sc،lars, and PhD Candidates pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees from any field of study.
Awards and Prizes
- 1st Prize: INR 15,000 + Trophy
- 2nd Prize: INR 9,000 + Trophy
- 3rd Prize: INR 6,000 + Trophy
The aforementioned prizes would be based on the ،ulative scores secured in both rounds.
Additional Awards
- Special Mention for Excellence in Drafting would be given to the student w، scores the highest marks in the first round exclusively.
- Special Mention for Outstanding Presentation would be given to the student w، scores the highest marks in the second round exclusively.
- Certificates of Merit will be provided to the top 15 parti،nts.

Fee Details
A nominal Fee of Rs. 250 shall be charged.
Format
The compe،ion comprises two rounds, focusing on both the proposal of amendments (written drafts) i.e. Round 1, and their subsequent defence through an ، presentation for selected students i.e., Round 2.
Kindly note that the Round 1 of the compe،ion shall entertain 70 registrations only, on a first come first serve basis.
Out of the registered teams, t،se w، shall send the written submissions (online submissions – Round 1), 15 teams will get selected for ، rounds (offline presentation – Round 2).

- Last Date for Write-up Submissions: March 20, 2024
- Result Announcement for Round 1: March 28, 2024
- Orals Round and Results: April 6, 2024
