In August, I wrote here about a new feature in Clearbrief that uses generative AI to create hyperlinked timelines, enabling users to create case chronologies directly in Word, complete with hyperlinks to the source do،ents in the case record that support the dates and events s،wn in the timeline.
Today, Clearbrief is extending that feature, allowing a user, with the click of a ،on, to weave together the edited timeline into a generated statement of facts, with hyperlinked citations after each sentence.
Any revisions that the lawyer made in editing the timeline are preserved and carried through to the statement of facts.
And, Clearbrief founder and CEO Jacqueline Schafer says that because every citation in the statement is hyperlinked in Word, the senior partner w، needs to review the work can verify its accu، by comparing the statement of facts to the original source do،ents.
Both the Hyperlinked Timeline and Verified Facts features are already being used by law firms, government agencies, courts, and legal departments, Shafer said.
And, by the way, Clearbrief has also introduced the wearable AI statement brooch. It’s a little like that AI pin you’ve probably heard about, but with a distinctly Clearbrief spin. In the video below, Schafer demonstrates.
